Students have difficulty allotting a slot to their homework because they have other important things on the list too. Revising some subjects, preparing for upcoming examinations, participating in extracurricular activities, and other things also need attention besides homework. Students cannot just sit anywhere to complete their homework. the type of environment around them influences the quality of work. A good place to complete homework is somewhere that has;

- Enough space to spread out copies, books, and other stationery items
- It is bright but not blinding.
- Good quality air
- Not noisy yet not entirely silent
- Younger students prefer working with their parents. Hence any environment is suited for them as long as there is a support factor.
- Viewing homework positively
Students should view homework positively and not in a negative light as a waste of time. Subconsciously, they spend more time learning and indulging in academic content by completing assignments. Remaining in a constant learning flow through homework outside a school environment will help students keep the learning mindset. With time, they develop intellectual values too.
