Students enrolled in a degree program in this field will receive hands-on experience using advanced technology in a variety of production environments, including green screens, multi-cam TV studios, and post-production labs. Students will gain access to advanced software and equipment for their projects, including Adobe CC, AfterEffects, and Premiere. The curriculum teaches students how to create effective communication with a diverse audience, as well as analyze the impact of media in a global society. In addition to this, students will learn how to formulate and conduct applied communication research questions, using quantitative and qualitative methods to collect and analyze the findings.
