    Entertainment media are forms of visual and auditory art and culture. They are a form of public engagement and can take many forms, from painting to live theatre.     The entertainment media industry is highly competitive and requires strong management skills. Students enrolled in a degree program in this field will receive hands-on experience using advanced technology in a variety of production environments, including green screens, multi-cam TV studios, and post-production labs. Students will gain access to advanced software and equipment for their projects, including Adobe CC, AfterEffects, and Premiere. The curriculum teaches students how to create effective communication with a diverse audience, as well as analyze the impact of media in a global society. In addition to this, students will learn how to formulate and conduct applied communication research questions, using quantitative and qualitative methods to collect and analyze the findings. The communication tools and techniques they use are industry-standard, so a student will be prepared for a variety of roles.
